Can I install Vista 64 on a blank SAS scsi hard drive through a scsi card and…?

By Cut

I am building a new computer. I have found a sas scsi card that is vista 64 compatible. I have also found a 15k rpm drive that I like.
The instructions for the card say during the os install process vista will automatically install drivers for the card. My question is: Can I install the card in the mobo, connect the hard drive throught it, and expect vista install smoothly?

Or is it something convoluted like installing the card first without the hard drive, or installing a sata drive first to set up the scsi?

last time i checked vista 64 was a problem with a bunch of things. i would make sure not only that it works with the hardware (which i suspect will not be the main source of the problems) but also check on software aps and drivers before installing it. gl
