Can I use Crest Whitestrips a few days after getting my wisdom teeth taken out?
ByI had my wisdom teeth taken out 4 days ago. I want to whiten my teeth with the new Crest Whitestrips and my mom says it might be bad while I’m on my antibiotics? She has no idea what she’s talking about she just made this up, but do you think I can go ahead and use the whitestrips? They just remove stains from your teeth and the antibiotics have nothing to do with that. It’s safe right?

The bleaching materials will seep out from the strips and possibly irritate the holes. Just wait another week. You also probably shouldn’t spit too forcefully just yet – I know when I was using white strips there was a lot of spitting and forceful rinsing going on after I took the strip off.
