u have to finalize the DVD first then u put the mini DVD into ur computer then open up the canon folder then ull seelike dcim or sometinh click on 1 of the 2 boxes try both of them the if is white click on 1 of the vids like the 1 after the 1st one cause the first is not a vid its the thing that records it so click on 1 of the vids after the memory thing the right click go to properties go to open with then put wondows media player then click ok then open it it will open up W.M.P hope this helps

this camara aint very good….
- no light. can’t record in the dark.
-can’t edit them on the computer
-can’t convert files
- can’t record on miniSD
- can’t play minidvd on most dvd players…(finalized)
-and what backfiredplans said….its basically a playback camera.

i got this camera for my birthday a year and a half ago, the guy at the best buy said it was great for the internet and video editing, and after a year and a half of struggling with converting files to put it on editing software i find its basically a playback camera only… some bullshit

i have a dc210 i wont to edit my video’s
on the pc and then put them on youtube. So i heard you have to finalize the disc and i have used all the space on the disc but it still wil not let me finalize the disc! so i cant edit the video on my disc. so any ideas?

I HAVE A PROBLEM! I have a Canon DC210. With the cd that it records to, I cannot edit it or convert it so i can edit it. When i convert it, Everything is everywhere. The audio and video are skipping past each other!!

Yeah, I thought the same thing!
This guy definitely has no clue what he’s talking about.
I mean he says “get rid of those square TVs” – LOL, first they’re not square (a bit wider than high – 4:3) and second they’re not crap, they are the *best* display device for SDTV, so they have their right to exist.
Also camcorders that give reduced resolution when recording in 16:9 aren’t produced anymore, the very first cheap Mini-DV and Digital8 Camcorders had that issue.
