Fairy Costume

There are certain fancy dress costumes that appeal massively to different people.  For example, women love sexy costumes, like sexy santas or sexy nurses.  Men go for army or comedy costumes (some even like women’s clothing!).  Boys are infatuated with pirates and ninjas and anything action packed.  Girls are particularly enamoured by sparkly costumes and fairytale costumes like princesses; however there is one outfit for girls that is a cut above the rest- a fairy costume.

Fairies hold images of whimsical places found in bedtime stories and fairytales.  With their magical abilities, beautiful costumes and cute wings, it’s easy to see why many a little girl long to be part of their world.  In the mind of a child, dressing in a fairy costume, with wings and the all important wand is an amazing feeling.

Having said that, it’s not just girls that can enjoy fairy costumes, they are also available for adults in a variety of designs.  The common theme across adult and child costumes is the sparkly nature of the outfits, and of course the fairy wings.  Even women find wings empowering.

The majority of fairy costumes include a dress, wings and some form of headpiece, usually a nice tiara.  To make the costume truly special however consider getting a wand and fairy shoes.  Another great addition is glitter, which can add that extra sparkle to an already special costume!
