Product Description
Wiki Government shows how to bring innovation to government. In explaining how to enhance political institutions with the power of networks, it offers a fundamental rethinking of democracy in the digital age. Collaborative democracy-government of the people, by the people, for the people-is an old dream. Today, Wiki Government shows how technology can make that dream a reality. In this thought-provoking book, Beth Simone Noveck illustrates how collaborative democracy strengthens public decisionmaking by connecting the power of the many to the work of the few. Equally important, she provides a step-by-step demonstration of how collaborative democracy can be designed, opening policymaking to greater participation. “Wiki Government” tells the story behind one of the most dramatic public sector innovations in recent years – inviting the public to participate in the patent examination process. Patent examiners usually work in secret, cut off from essential information and racing against the clock to master arcane technical claims. The Peer-to-Patent project radically transformed this process by allowing anyone with Internet access to collaborate with the agency in reviewing patent applications. “Wiki Government” describes how a far-flung team of technologists, lawyers, and policymakers pried open a tradition-bound agency’s doors. Noveck explains how she brought both fiercely competitive companies and risk-averse bureaucrats on board. She discusses the design challenges the team faced in creating software to distill online collaboration into useful expertise, not just rants or raves. And she explains how law, policy, and technology can be revamped to help government work in more open and participatory ways in a wide range of policy arenas, including education and the environment.

The small pill like bottle which contains the two glass bottles is very old and has two french style symbols on the outside of the front of the gold box. The lids to the bottles are on the top outside of the box and the glass bottles are on the inside of the box. The size of the box is no more than an inch or two in length and the bottles are even smaller. The symbols on the outside of the box I have been told stand for a mandalease or a french lilly, or something like that. I need help identifing what this may be or what it was used for. I wonder how old it might be. Thanks to anyone with information.

Gone are the days of dry and monotonous presentations, public addresses and seminars. With the advent of digital multimedia projectors, delivering trainings and presentations has become much more fun, easy and interactive. One of the most commonly seen equipments in the offices today is a digital projector because presentations and trainings are a part of day-to-day business activity.

When deciding to buy one for your business, there is an extensive variety of digital projectors in the market to choose from. Their prices also vary from hundreds to thousands of pounds. So how do you know which brand is better, how do you select a suitable one for your business needs and what will be a cost-effective choice? The answers really depend on your preferences and business requirements.

The easiest way that will require least amount of your effort in selecting a suitable digital projector for your UK business is to use free services of a UK based facilitating agency, such as Quote Bean. A facilitating agency will provide you with free no-obligation quotations according to your requirements from pre-qualified UK based digital projector suppliers. All you have to do is to compare the provided quotations and select the one that best fits your needs. However, before you do that it’s better to determine your business requirements and consider addressing the following few important aspects:

Your Budget:
First you need to allocate a budget to this purchase as you do with every business purchase. Then you should determine whether that budget will suit your business requirements. For example, would you require delivering fully interactive presentations and trainings with full multimedia facility or would an average digital projector with reasonable resolution will do for you. Do you want to go with a branded digital projector or will you be happy with an unbranded one. Determining these requirements will help you allocate a budget for this purchase.

Space for your digital projector:
Digital projectors come as either portable models or models that you can fix permanently to the ceiling. Portable projectors are relatively expensive as compared to fixed ones. However, you may want to consider if you have enough space to designate a room to permanently fix the projector to the ceiling. If not, then buying a portable projector would be your best bet.

Technical Specifications:
There are various technical specifications of digital projectors available in the market. Most important specifications that you should consider are the image resolution, screen-throw and image brightness of a projector. Cheaper models may come with lower image resolution which would have less image density but better screen-throw and vice-versa. Similarly, an expensive model may come with a higher image resolution but less image brightness and vice-versa. So if you require high density image with better screen-throw and less image brightness then you should choose a model accordingly. You should also consider the light conditions in the room where you will place the digital projector. If the room is bright and cannot be darkened by switching off the lights then a projector with high image brightness and screen resolution will be a better choice. If the room can be darkened then you can also go with a projector that has lower screen resolution and image brightness.

Product Description
The Hamilton Beach® BrewStation® 40 Cup urn offers one-hand dispensing, so there is no need to put down a buffet or party plate to fill up a cup of coffee. In a busy buffet line, that means cups can be filled faster, saving time and reducing crowding. Disposable cups are never a problem, either – the dispensing button was designed to work with foam as well as classic ceramic cups. For added convenience, the dispensing area has a higher cup clearance than most urns and the drip tray removes for easy cleaning. The last drops of a 40-cup coffee urn have rarely tasted as good until now. In the BrewStation® urn, a powerful center heater brews the entire tank quickly (45 seconds per cup versus the normal 60 seconds). Once brewed, the center heater shuts down and a gentle, keep-warm heater maintains a perfect temperature without scorching the coffee. Coffee tastes great longer, from the first cup to the last.
