forceps?????
Bydoes having forceps used have any affect on you afer the birth?? do they scar you or make you “wider” inside??
ok just to add, i had my baby 2weeks ago and he was delivered using forceps. yes he was brusied but it was a matter of life and death for him to be vorn so forceps and an episotomy was the only answer. the brusing on him is gone now and his head scan came back normal.

forceps are used to grab the babys head they are like tongs they dont affect you at all but they can cause hearing loss & bruising on the baby

the word forceps makes me cringe..i would never let anyone use them on my baby..if used incorectly they can casue alot of damage to a baby. my sister was pulled out with forceps and the doctors tore all the nevers in her arm beyond repair. i have also seen shocking pictures of babies that have been brused so badly for them being used..if you want to know what im talking about google forcep delivery pictures..but i warn you the pictures are shocking..
i dont know if they case any damage to the vagina or if they make you wider. i’d be more worried about the effect on your baby.
