Hay Is For Horses – Buckwheat Hulls Are For Humans!

By Cut

What…is this a new health hype? No – you don’t need to eat the buckwheat hulls, you just need to sleep on them!

I may be strange, but I am not crazy.

Buckwheat hulls, also known as sobakawa hulls or sobagara husks have been used in pillows in the Orient for hundreds of years for health and relaxation techniques.

And believe it or not, many health care professionals use the buckwheat pillow to treat neck pain, back pain, headaches, muscle tension and other physical conditions.

Three main reason to choose a buckwheat pillow are:

1. It conforms to the exact contours of the neck – where support is needed

2. It has insulating properties – cool in the summer, warm in the winter

3. It is environmentally friendly

One chiropractor said that the buckwheat pillow helped to restore the natural curve of the neck in an even shorter period of time than his chiropractic treatments.

Hot pillow – so you flip it over? The buckwheat pillow fixes that with it’s insulating properties. It keeps you cool when its hot, and warm when its cold.

It is organic and most are manufactured in an organic way – with no petroleum-based products being used in the manufacturing process.

Yoga fans are using buckwheat pillows too. Some people use them in their car to battle the kinked neck syndrome when traveling long distances.

It just seems like everyone should try one at least. You might find a cure for the aches and pains that have plagued you for so long.

You can find different sizes of pillows – regular and trave size.

I hope this information has been helpful. I for one know what back and neck pain is and I am sure that any one of you that have suffered from the same agree when I say that when you find relief – it is like living again!

Please note that a cheap buckwheat hull pillow may flair up your allergies, because the cheap buckwheat pillow manufactures use broken-flake hulls, bits and pieces which result in buckwheat flour residue escaping through the fabric

In a good quality buckwheat pillow, the hulls are organically grown and carefully milled and cleaned in a special way which removes 99% of the fine particles, dust and flour.

So, make sure you get one from a reputable domestic manufacturer because imported buckwheat pillows are made from hulls that require chemical fumigation upon entrance into the country.

Happy Hunting…..and…..Sweet Dreams!
