How do I fix my electric grill?
ByMy electric grill (on my TEBA oven/grill/hob unit) has stopped working. It seemed to blow the other day (smelt burning) and hasn’t worked since.
This is an all in one machine (grill is in same compartment as oven, element at top).
Any help much app’d!
Where do I check fuses and elements for the grill
Yeah not too helpful, that one Bob. Didn’t actually answer my Q at all, did you?

Sounds bad for the grill, it will probably cost more than it is worth.

You mean the grill element in the oven? The element is likely just out. That is the most common failure.
If a free standing unit you unplug it and then you should be able to take the hanger loose and a couple of screws holding the back end of the element in place and pull it forward to ohm out the element that is likely open. If open replace it.
This is providing there is enough loose wire to pull it forward to access and replace it. But if not then you have to remove the back to check and take loose the wiring there. Sometimes the connectors need replacing as they don’t take the heat forever either.
Good Luck.
