How do I make icing baby booties for a cake?
ByI am making a cake for my friend’s baby shower. I need to know what tip to use and the technique to make baby booties.

I think it would be easiest to take the plastic booties you can get from Wal-mart or any other store that has baby shower stuff. Then pipe icing on to the plastic booties. other than that I have no idea!!

usually the template for booties can be found in a christening cake book or if you look through other cake decorating books they can sometimes have them as well (head to your local library or book store) another way is to buy your sugar mode ling paste and hand mould shoes out of the paste. you could also go to your local cake decorating store and they may have a cutter that you could use to cut out the template. good luck.

build a boot out of mini marshmallows ( three— two on top of one another and then one for the toe. then ice with the star tip and add laces!
