Remove the saddle, there’ll either be a bolt or a key to take it off. Put the saddle bags on top of the rear mud guard and replace the saddle. Take care to get the saddle bags positioned properly so you don’t have one hanging onto the exhaust. Also make sure they’re far back enough that you’re not uncomfortable.

If the instructions are not available online perhaps your local or even a distant but much larger dealer can scan the document(s), and email them to you, or turn you on to the web address. (this is gonna really piss bart off)… Most all bike dealers have an accessory support department. I bought a HD accessory online and as is the norm it was not complete. Instead of hassling with going up the guy’s butt,(I figure negative feedback was good enough) I placed one phone call to my local dealer and they emailed the document and sent the missing trim piece from Milwaukee for free. There’s no reason Honda can’t do the same.

Also, do not forget to get saddlebag brackets, they really help with the positioning and structure.

More details, eh?
I assume you bought soft bags but are they joined by a web of material or by two adjustable straps or are they separate items?
If joined they can just be slung over the seat or trapped under it. If they are separate you’ll need to strap them to the bike frame.
Make sure the bags clear the exhaust. Depending on how big the bags are and where the rear signals are located you may have to relocate the signals.
