How to fix Kodak easyshare camera that was completely wet and does not work anymore even with new batteries?

By Cut

Hi, my Kodak Easyshare camera got completely wet when I was taking pictures at niagara. Now it does not work anymore. I tried replacing batteries with no success. Could anyone let me know how to fix this, please? Thanks

You need to let it dry out completely, for at least 3 days, before trying to power it up again. Tip it so that there is a seam at the bottom, and set it on something absorbent. The batteries should be out while it’s drying. If it still doesn’t work after that, it’s probably fried from trying to power it up wet.
