Electric toothbrushes actually take a lot more work to use correctly, and are not often recommended by oral health care professionals. The only electric toothbrush I would advise anyone on using would be a Sonicare — much different. Regular, old, run of the mill electic toothbrushes have to be manipulated very carefully to get into the occlusal surfaces of the teeth.
