I was going to plant a orange tree from seed how long would it take to grow decent oranges?
ByI bought the seeds from a shop, it came with the pot and stuff. I’m not sure what type it is though it just says citrus orange on the packet. Is that the type of orange tree or is it just because oranges are a citrus fruit?

Durian trees take 10 years for the fruits to grow. Orange should take around 5 to 8 years.

IT NORMALLY TAKES ABOUT 7 YEARS. DONT PRUNE UNTIL IT IS DONE FLOWERING. TRY TO KEEP LARGE AND GIVE IT SOME PLANT FOOD

lol, do not hold you breath, it will take up to 4 years or perhaps more for them to be a viable tree, this is what you plant for the nest generation or the one following it,
. be better to get one around 2 years old and plant it and it will produce fruit for eating in 1 to 3 years

It takes years, if at all. Most citrus trees that produce are from root stock with another variety attached to it by grafting.
