When learning English and studying the topic of weather – in England you need learn only one phrase; “It is raining”

4

hello, we can practice english if youd like!!! im learning too!!!

5

i love rain!

6

its party cloudy here in germany

7

oh you feel sad if the weather rainy or cloudy
but here in saudi arabia we are so happy when it’s rainy

8

Don’t worry:)

9

sorry if u were offended

10

I think your behavior is so rude. You are just not insulting another language you’re being rude to the people who speak it. Think about it.

11

raininf all day, not good.

12

adam sounds gay lol

13

today it’s cloudy in Romania

14

one thing we DO use rainy with, here, is
“it’s rainy weather”
other then that, i cannot think of any others circumstances we’d use the word rainy.
it just flows better when you say “wet”

it does rain here alot too, had about a thousand mil in the last month, which is a large amount for most countries but not all.
although, being australian we do say alot of other things too, like

it’s pissing down rain today
it’s bucketing down.

which i dont think any other countries say.

15

We have alot of words with different meanings and the same sounds
eg. “i have a pair of pears”
or “the bandage was wound around the wound”
“Since there is no time like the present, he thought it was time to present the present.”

Also, students learning english have a hard time with the she’s, he’s and it’s. They have to learn to put an “s” after them, like..
She eatS bacon and eggs every morning.
alot of other languages just say something like
he eat
not he eats

confusing.

16

yes english is easy because unlike other languages it doesnt put a gender to items..seriously how can a garlic be masculine and an apple be feminine…stupid

17

english is my main language also and but i come from a country where it rains frequently, the word ‘rainy’ is used alot and so is ‘wet’ for e.x:
1a) its going to be a rainy day or 1b) its going to be a wet day
2a) its going to be a rainy week or
2b) its going to be a wet week
3a) its quite rainy today or 3b) its really wet today

18
