I'm impressed. This is the first salad I've ever made where the greens didn't get all soggy and icky. Wash the greens, and give them a good long spin. Then make the rest of your salad, making sure to dry the rest of the veggies off with a towel or paper towel after washing them. I made the salad early in the morning, and when I went to serve it at dinner time it was still crispy and good. I just used a salad spinner my mom sent me for the first time, today. I’m impressed. Then pull out basket, pour off water from bowl, put basket back in, and spin to sling the water off. The spinner is also good for getting excess water off of thawed frozen spinach.
