What are some disasters [earthquake, tsunami, etc.] that may occur to California within years?
ByAs my question: What are some disasters [natural or not] that may occur to California?
Acceptable Answer: It is said that California will have an earthquake in the next 15 years, etc.
UNACCEPTABLE Answer: i don’t know. look on the news.
– I will report those unacceptable, ignorant answers.
Oh, and also, what parts of California?

there are 108 volcanoes that are active in us. and 5 in California. there are chances of having volcanic eruption in california in next 15 years.

1.The San Andreas fault in southern CA has been locked since about 1609- that part of CA is overdo for a big earthquake and it is very likely we will have one within the next 25 years. Unfountently we can’t predict earthquakes.
2. Northern CA actually has warning systems and evacuation plans set up for tsunamis. It is possible that if Alaska has a big enough earthquake or volcanic eruption that it may cause a tsunami to hit CA. Hopefully southern CA sets up evacuation plans as well because we’re not protected from them.
3. CA sits on the ring of fire so volcanic eruptions are an issue and likely to occur. Mammoth is a caldera (rhyolite volcano) and if that thing ever gets to the point of blowing up we might as well put jam in our pockets cuz we’re all gonna be toasts.
