What exactly does a shower cap do for your hair?
ByWell i only take a few showers a week and usually avoid letting the water hitting my hair much because then it puffs out and looks bad..someone suggested a shower cap..do these things completely block water or just some or what? would it help me?

Well it does block lots of water. I mean if you put your hair completely under the shower faucet then of course it might get a little wet. But if you try to avoid being directly under it you will not get your hair wet. Just make sure before you go in the shower you put all of your hair in it without missing little pieces. .

It protects your hair from getting wet, or any moisture period to get to your hair

It will protect your hair as long as you are not standing right under the shower head. It just keeps any errant drops from hitting your hair.

Yeah, they completely block water. Its like a plastic cap or something that surrounds the head. I used to use them, they work

It’s a plastic cap that covers you head/hair, so it’s blocks water pretty well. It blocks about 98% of water from getting on your head. I’d say you should look into it if you don’t like getting your hair wet too often.

well if you jumped in a pool it would fly over your face or if theres a hloe in other wise it works

completely blocks it,they really work.looks kinda silly,but really helps.i wore one to shower just before my wedding,i didnt want to ruin my salon hairstyle.the shower cap protected it perfectly.highly reccomended!

yes they really do help my hair is VERY frizzy and i have to straiten it every time i get out of the shower i got a shower cap and my hair stays nice and dry!
