JUICE OR SODA!!!

2

Fruit juice and fruit juice punches for colored ice cubes. Try edible flower petals such as rose and lily for something really classy.

We used to mix up cool aid and freeze it in ice cube trays. My mom also used to mix jello and freeze it, but I know there’s a special way to do it- I think she adds more water or something… can’t remember. You can also freeze strawberries or raspberries and other kinds of fruit in your water. Or mix up some lemon aid and freeze it with strawberries or raspberries already in it. Yummy!! Then you can chop up the ice cubes and just eat them.

soda, juice, pudding……………… if u want it just for kicks u can put in gummyworms. maybe just a few drops of food coloring for colors………………….kool aid

5

try kool-aid, orange juice, gatoraide, soda, juice, and anything but milk, trust me it separates and is gross

6

Try fruit juice and tooth picks as handles.

My very favorite frozen cube is lemonade! If you aren’t making it fresh, Countrytime is the best. I also freeze leftover coffee then slush it up with a little milk, sugar or hershey syrup & have a wonderful frozen coffee. Frozen Orange juice is good slushed up with a bit of evaporated milk if you like the dreamsicle taste.

8

cranberry juice and sprite mixture with one berry in each little square…they make great flavored ice cubes and are fun to eat

(if your worried about the sugar go for diet cranberry juice, avoid the extra 27g of sugar per cup)

14

any fruit juice

15

different color gatorade is good. juices are kinda gross cuz the sugar concentrates and separates water from sugar.

Orange Juice with toothpicks as handles.

First you pour in the orange juice and then cover the tray in foil then stick in the toothpicks and freeze

One friend freezes broth or stock in ice cube trays, then puts the ice cubes in a bag in the freezer. She grabs a couple of these cubes and has good stock anytime she wants to cook with it.

Of course, if you’re looking for fun treats, don’t use that! Freeze instant pudding in an ice cube tray and add sticks when it’s halfway frozen. Pseudo-ice cream pops!

Another thing that’s fun to do is freeze two or three different kinds of Kool-Aid that go well together. Freeze them in separate trays. Pop three or four of these into a glass — mix them up — and add lemon-lime soda or even club soda. This is quite pretty and makes a nice personal glass of mixed punch as the ice thaws. For this, it’s actually best to use unrefrigerated soda so the ice will melt more easily.

PESTO!!!!!! I used to work for a lady who grew basil in large quantities and she made huge batches of pesto and froze it in ice cube trays. after the pesto is frozen remove from trays and store in a freezer bag. One cube is enough for one serving of pasta. The pesto cube will melt into the hot pasta as you toss.

You can freeze dimatap and other kiddie cough medicines that taste really good. I used to do that all the time!
