Sea salt is harvested from sea water, it is the most nature form of salt. Rock Salt simply hasn’t been ground into fine granules, it can be made artificially or from sea salt.
No idea about aquarium salt. There are all sorts of different kinds of salt.

Sea salt is rich in IODINE which is a substance that your body needs to produce hormones. That’s why it’s healthier than rock salt. But if you are going to use it in your aquarium… then you should buy aquarium salt.

sea salt comes from the sea(ie the dead sea) and rock salt is usually taken from salt mines (caves)..sea salt you can get from the health food stores, like whole foods. i’m not sure if sea salt is used in aquariums, but you might want to check Petco or some other pet store for aquarium supplies.

Aquarium salt is pure sodium chloride the same as pickling salt. Sea salt is just that…..from the sea and is full of trace elements. Rock salt can come from different sources but the best comes from ancient sea beds which has to be mined.
EDIT: Sea salt is not high in iodine but does contain it. Iodine aids in the production of thyroxin which is a hormone which helps control metabolisim. Iodine prevents a thyroid condition called goiter.
