What size box truck would i need to rent, to be able to fit a king-size mattress inside?

I’m moving and need to rent a u-haul, but not sure what size….i need to fit my king-size mattress in it……

king size beds are 78in by 78in. you could put it in the back of a full size pickup truck, and tie it down.

A 14′ truck is right for the dimensions, but you might be able to get it to fit into a 10′ truck with a little coercion.

A king size bed is 6′x6′ 8″ and the opening of the 10′ uhaul is 5′ 11″ x 5′ 6″

The 14′ truck opening is 7′ 1″ x 6′1″.

Bending a mattress with springs can cause damage to it.

All u need to do is tell u-haul how many rooms u r moving and they will get u the right size truck
